KLEIN STAKE EVENTS

We strive to bring people closer to Jesus Christ by organizing events that promote service and other faith building activities. These gatherings are also an excellent opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and connect with others in the community. We believe in the power of unity and the importance of serving others.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all who attend.

prayer walk

This is an opportunity to learn from different faiths regarding prayer. Our missionaries will have a booth along the prayer walk that loops around the Cypress Creek Christian Church and from 6-7:30pm they will be interacting with community members. We’d love to have members of the Klein Stake attend as well. You can spend half an hour or the entire hour and a half interacting with the different faith communities that will be represented that evening, praying for specific topics as well. What a beautiful way to meet members of our community, join in prayer, and feel more united. This is a wonderful way to experience the National Day of Prayer!

DIALOGUE MEALS

What is interfaith? Interfaith means interacting with people of different religions or faith traditions. When we gather with people of different faiths, we learn to respect and understand each other deeper. We also find similarities and strengthen our own faith. Gathering can be very unifying when we have a safe space to talk and listen.
An opportunity is available for adults to attend a dialogue dinner. During the week of May 4-May 10 there are several times to choose from. The list of dates and times are below.
Host 1 Sun. 5/4, 11:00am
Host 2 Tues. 5/6, 12:00pm
Host 3 Tues. 5/6, 1:00pm
Host 4 Thurs. 5/8, 6:30pm
Host 5 Fri. 5/9, 11:00am
Host 6 Fri. 5/9, 6:00pm
Host 7 Sat. 5/10, 6:30pm
If you’d like to attend, please click the “SignUp Here” below which will allow you to send an email to the organizer. Just share your name and meal option you’re interested in attending. She will respond and give you all the details. Basically, you’ll arrive at your host’s home, enjoy a lovely meal with 6-10 people in your community and have a chance to share your faith as well as listen. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity and we hope you’ll take advantage of this experience.
